EPA Lies About The Smoky Mountains

Description of video playing:

Named by the Cherokee Shaconoque, "place of the blue cloud", long before early European settlers named them the Smoky Mountains, the EPA is using the Smokies as a poster child for smog on their website explaining regulation of PM2.5 (fine particulate matter, 2.5 microns or smaller).

This kind of phony imagery is reminiscent of "stranded" polar bears on ice flows, but it can be very effective in manipulating public opinion.

Maybe we can learn something about confronting encroaching government agencies from the Smoky Mountains National Park handout about handling encounters with another dangerous predator - the black bear.
