Detective Charles Kleinert, who works in the Austin Police Department Robbery Unit, was identified as the officer involved in the fatal shooting on Friday. The man who died has not been identified because his family has not been notified, according to a press release. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who witnessed the shooting and was captured by a surveillance camera.
